6 months of photos

I’ve now been doing my photo blog for more than 6 months.  I’m the only one, from the group that got challenged, that is still doing it every day.  There are a few people that are doing it sporadically though.

And I’m tired. The only reason to carry on with it now, is to prove that I can do it.  I’m enjoying the photography, but this every-day lark is getting to be a schlepp.

I’m just not feeling inspired anymore, and I’m thinking that all my photos are getting boring. I’m struggling to find things to take photos of now; because I’m sure people don’t want to see pics of my kids every day! And they sure don’t want me to take any more photos of them, than I already do!

Oh and, then I go and sign-up for Blog365 as well! I am definitely loopy!

The other thing is… I now have 2 active blogs.  I find it quite tough to try and decide which one I’m going to leave as my calling card when I comment on blogs.  Which one do I want to get more traffic? Which one is going to get someones interest?  I have yet to decide.  In one way, I want the photos to get the traffic because I think I’m getting pretty good and I’m proud of my art.  In another way, I want people to read this, even though I’m not very eloquent at the best of times.

Oh well, let me just plod on.  If anyone has some amazing subjects for me to photograph, please let me know!

You’ve done amazingly well. If you stop now, will you kick yourself one day? Maybe stick with it for another 6 months and then you can always say ‘I did a year’. Dunno, just a thought.
On a side note, how do you leave a calling card? And which 2 blogs do you mean?

Ja, I’ll stick it out I’m sure. I’m half way there already anyway. I’m just a moaner today.

As for the calling card, I mean when I leave my name and website link I can never decide which one to leave. On Blogger it’s not an issue because you don’t really have a choice at the moment (the wordpress login doesn’t work for me on Blogger)
As for the 2 blogs… this one and the photo blog.

I would leave this one as the calling card as it seems harder to get people involved in a photo blog. That said, I would add a BIG link to the photo blog on your sidebar, and maybe add a link to the photos in your feeds?

I signed up for 365 as well. Egads, I think it might kill me.

I think you are doing a wonderful job!! And I have loved seeing your photographs evolve. Don’t know enough about this “blogging” thing so I am not really in a position to comment, but do so enjoy reading about your family and experiences. Keep it up! I don’t think you’ll be sorry in the long run!

I gave up my craft blog and consolidated. It was too hard to have both. I just added a page to my primary blog for the crafting photos and just talk about my crafting (or lack of) on CofS.

I’ve been mulling this over- yes you made me think lol. I think you’re photography is great and deserves it’s own blog. With regards to it being too much sometimes what about theme inspired weeks, i.e this week could be a back to school week next week the weather etc. You get the picture. Good luck!!!
