Natzgal tagged me for this ‘123′ meme.  I’ve seen it on quite a few blogs recently, and I love reading, so I’m tickled that I’ve been tagged .

Here are the instructions:
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people and post a comment here once you post it to your blog, so I can come see.

My choice isn’t as profound as most of the other meme’s I’ve read.  I’ve randomly chosen a book from the basket of books left over from our bookclub that disbanded a while ago… and in celebration of the start of it again!  YAY!! Can’t wait, it’s gonna be good, lot of wine, lots of talk… and a little bit of chatting about books .

So, my choice is Confessions of a Bad Mother by Stephanie Calman.

Even after several goes, he shows no inclination to turn around.

“You do realise,” says the doctor, “that this child is developmentally delayed” and she writes it down. So that’s why he didn’t turn around, I realise now; he knew she was a Horrid Lady.
