I got a message a few days ago from Azza, the person who’s farewell I went to 2 weeks ago. She thanked me for posting about her farewell on my blog, because one of my friends contacted her and has been helping her out since then.
C is such a special and awesome person (you know who you are 
). Not that she comments on my blog, but clearly she reads it
By doing what she has, she has touched so many people with her kindness and generosity. Azza posted about what C did and how she helped her, on the baby forum where we met, and everyone there was buzzing about it.
Just to let everyone else in the loop, Azza has been having hassles getting her work visa approved, and C has been helping her out and talking her through it… and basically keeping her sane. And then on top of that, C organised a week’s holiday in Sabie for Azza and her family just so they didn’t have to stay in their empty house.
I really hope that when Azza finally gets to Auckland that they’ll meet up IRL and become good friends.
You have no idea how that makes me feel. All of a sudden, all the hours spent blogging is more than worth it. I was walking around with a grin for hours. Through me, a little sunshine was brought into someones life.
I’m curious now, who else is lurking out there… please de-lurk and say howzit
