Seeing things differently

I had a good chuckle to myself on the way home today… and the reason… there’s new graffiti on a wall and it’s just gorgeous!!

Last year, I would have moaned and groaned about the vandalism, but now I see the beauty in it.  I see that there’s a new photo opportunity, and I can’t wait to stop there sometime this week (if it’s not too dark) to take a few shots of it.

It’s very obvious to me that I’ve changed a lot since I started the photo-a-day thing.  I see things in a completely different light.  I’m the weirdo carrying a camera around all day, but who cares!   I get the strangest looks most days, but again, who cares!

I realized that I too changed how I viewed things when I started really getting into photography. You can find beauty in just about everything, and I think that’s a good thing:)

cant wait to see the pics too. i work in melville, and there’s some awesome graffiti there!

can’t wait to see the pics, i love graffiti :)

hehe

I must agree with Cheap Thrills - there is a section in Melville near the Milpark Hospital that has some awesome graffitti. I forgot about it when we were there on Saturday or I would have asked Donovan to take me past it. It’s actually the nicest graffitti I’ve seen in a long time so if you are in the area give me a call and I’ll tell you exactly where it is :)

I’m intrigued!! Can’t wait to see it!

hey!!!
who said carrying a camera all the time is strange?!??!
