Connor and cats
My little fearless warrior son, Connor, is afraid of one thing in this world. And that’s cats!
I thought about this the other day when someone on a mothers forum posted a question asking what your child is scared of. He’s definitely not afraid of heights or speed or anything like that… in fact the more dangerous the better for him. In fact, he’s already trying to walk down staircases (ie not backwards or on his bum) – bear in mind he’s only 16 months old!
But cats, that’s a no no.
He just has to see one to start screaming. LOL! And I think I’m making it worse because I’ve started feeding a stray cat that’s decided our garden is a haven. Everytime he sees it he screams and runs for cover.
The cat of course, is not interested at all, which is typical. LOL!
It’s so bad, that the other evening we were watching a program on TV and a home video of a cat came on… he screamed and performed so much that we had to change the channel!
LOL! Hope he grows out of it soon

I’ve passed on my fear of spiders to Noah. When he sees one he cries and runs for his life.
Also, that boy just does not love the vacuum cleaner.
Poor baby – My eldest son, is so scared of birds! Especially Hadeeda’s (?) – His fear makes it quite difficult for us to go to a zoo – last time we went he almost fainted when he saw the flamingo pond with all these big flamingo’s sunning themselves. One cannot help but find it amusing – but he is really bad – 12 yrs old and even refuses to keep books in his room with pics of birds. No idea where the fear comes from but hey there he has it. We just support him now.
Oh LOL!!! He should come and visit my cats! They will cure him of his fear of cats…Simon’s such a big softy and Rosie will teach him that she’s even more terrified of him!!! LOL
Is it wrong that I think this is funny? Poor thing I hope he out grows it.
Well everyone needs one weakness, he sounds just like my almost 20 month old who at 16 months was happy to walk up/down stairs not caring of the danger – her one weakness is the vacume
