What’s a boot?

Early mornings in our household involve drinking tea in our bed with one or both of the kids chatting away.  Yesterday morning I was tickling Connor… I started with his feet, and then it became a tickle fest.  He was loving it… and I love listening to him giggling.

Anyhoo, I eventually stopped, and he kept saying “boot! boot!…”

It took me a while to get that he wanted me to tickle his foot again… which I duly did.  But then I tried to teach him to say “foot” and it was too funny…

“Connor, it’s foot”

“Boot”

“No, foot”

“Boot”

“Say ffffff for me”

“ffff”

“Ok, now ffffffffoot”

“fffffff…boot”

LOL, I soon gave up, he’ll get it soon enough :)

Haha! How funny is that? I love it when they’re learning to say new things – I used to tease Stacey and make her say “DR KARSHAGEN” which was the name of our paed! It was hysterical!! :)
