Who am I?
I am a working mom to 2 beautiful boys. This blog contains loads of ramblings of the antics of my 2 children and the odd entry about our lives in South Africa.
I started blogging as a way for friends overseas to keep up to date with the happenings in my life. When Connor was in NICU, this blog was the only way my friends knew what was going on as I wasn’t ready to talk about it face-to-face. Now, I write about the kids milestones, the things they say and do, and general things that happen around us. Sometime I climb onto a soapbox and have a lot to say about a subject, but that’s not often.
I have a photoblog too. The link to that site is http://www.jeanetteverster.com. My Photoblog (the older site that has now closed) won 2008 South African Photographic Blog of the year, which I’m very proud about!
And now I’m starting to take my photography more seriously, so I’m actively looking for clients
Leave me a comment or send me an email and I’ll get back to you.

I cant even remember how I found your website, but I am so happy I did. What a busy lady you are. I found your photography absolutely amazing and reading about your family was great. Your bits from the children’s haven were so moving as well. May you be blessed for your concern. Keep up the good work and I will be keeping an eye on you website daily.

Would you be kind enough to consider signing up as one of our ‘1001 Generous Bloggers’.
The site is at http://mencap.wordpress.com and is a bit of fun to raise money for Mencap, a charity that works with people with learning disabilities.
We’ve not long started so we have a long way to go, please take a look and see what you think.
Incidentally, I picked up your blog because of the ‘blogging’ tag on your recent post, via link on the wordpress homepage.
Anything you can do to spread the word is also appreciated.
Kind regards.

Hi Jenty – I am a journalist with The Sunday Independent newspaper and I am interviewing bloggers for an article that ties in with the SA Blog Awards. If you are keen to be interviewed please send me an email.
I just have a question. My name is also Jenty. Not short for anything, just Jenty. I was born in South Africa but currently reside in the U.S. I have never in my life met someone that shares my name but have always wondered if anyone shared it. I see that your name is an abbreviation correct? Is it a common name in S.A.? Because obviously it is very uncommon here/
